New Battle Pass Content
The Season 9 battle pass is filled with both free and premium rewards. Free tiers feature the World War II era Sten submachine gun and the Sentry Gun Steadygun scorestreak, a reskinned version of the classic sentry gun. Premium tiers introduce Halloween-themed operator skins and cosmetics, including Ajax with his jack-o-lantern inspired “Insanely Jacked” skin and Seraph in her stylish “Witch’s Holiday” look.
WWE Takes Over Call of Duty Mobile
The WWE crossover is at the heart of Season 9. Players can take part in a WWE-themed event where completing challenges earns Entry Tickets. These tickets open minigames that reward Smackdown Points which can then be redeemed for exclusive items like the Furious Finisher blueprint for the CR-56 AMAX and the Fractured Fiend operator skin for Minotaur. WWE Draws give players the chance to secure superstar operator skins for Alexa Bliss and Undertaker.
Rock Rampage and Halloween Events
The Rock Rampage event is another major highlight. Players can collect Power Chords to unlock the legendary Shredder blueprint for the FFAR assault rifle alongside other cosmetics. Halloween brings candy-collecting events that will appear just before October 31, promising more themed rewards to fit the spooky season.
Multiplayer Modes with a WWE Twist
Step Into the Ring is a brand new limited-time multiplayer mode where every player starts with Prizefighters boxing gloves for close-range combat. Those who build kill streaks transform into WWE operators like Undertaker, gaining access to special finishing moves and enhanced abilities. Haunted versions of classic modes also return including Attack of the Undead, Hordepoint, and the Halloween-themed Hacienda map.
Battle Royale in the Dark
Midnight Rumble also transforms Call of Duty Mobile’s Isolated map with a nighttime setting. Players must adapt to low visibility, relying on adjusted loadouts and new strategies to survive in the dead of night. This eerie twist adds tension and fresh excitement to the battle royale experience.
Looking Ahead
Season 9 arrives just before the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 beta, which begins October 2 with multiplayer and Zombies content. With WWE superstars, Halloween scares, and thrilling new rewards, Midnight Rumble sets the stage for one of the most exciting seasons of Call of Duty Mobile yet.
