A return to Basim with a new mystery in AlUla
Two years after launch, Assassin's Creed Mirage is getting a substantial gift. Valley of Memory is a free story expansion that sends Basim to the ninth century oasis city of AlUla. The chapter unfolds before the finale of the main game as rumors surface that Basim’s long lost father may still be alive. The search pulls him into a conflict with a band of robbers threatening the valley and into a personal quest that promises new revelations.
A desert playground shaped for stealth and discovery

AlUla arrives as a fully explorable region with varied landmarks. Creep through the old town, weave between the carved tombs of Hegra, scale the Musa Ibn Musayr fortress and pick your paths across the Valley of the Stones. The setting leans into classic Mirage design with dense routes, rooftops ledges and tight streets that reward silent takedowns and quick escapes.
Parkour tuned for precision and flow
Valley of Memory also ships a welcome parkour update for all players. You can toggle a manual jump for finer control and switch to a revised control layout that makes movement feel more responsive. Side and back ejects remain in the game and are now fully customizable so you can set up sequences that match your style across Baghdad and AlUla alike.
Missions you can replay again and again

Black box missions and contracts in both the base game and the DLC become replayable once completed. Access them through Animus Sequences on the objective board or revisit them directly in the world. It is a simple change that invites experimentation with different routes, gadgets and timings without starting a new save.
Fresh challenge and deeper builds
Beyond the map and moves the update adds more ways to shape your assassin. Expect new skill and tool customization options and two additional difficulty levels. Whether you want a lighter story run or a demanding stealth sandbox there is room to tune the experience.
Release details and development
Valley of Memory launches November 18 on PC PlayStation 4 PlayStation 5 Xbox One and Xbox Series S X. The expansion is free for everyone who owns Assassins Creed Mirage. Ubisoft Bordeaux and Ubisoft Paris lead development with support from teams in Bucharest Da Nang and Montpellier.
Why this matters for Mirage fans
Mirage always shined when it put stealth and parkour first. Valley of Memory doubles down on that identity with a compact destination built for infiltration plus mechanical tweaks that make freerunning snappier. The ability to replay signature missions is the icing on the cake giving long time players a reason to return and perfect their routes.
