The Road to Bangkok
Krafton has officially unveiled all the details for the PUBG Global Championship 2025 and this year promises to be bigger than ever. The grand finale of PUBG Esports will run from November 28 to December 14 in Bangkok and will serve as the ultimate battleground where the best PUBG PC and PUBG Mobile teams come together under the PUBG United initiative.
This unified approach marks a new chapter for PUBG esports combining both communities into one global spectacle. Thirty three teams will be fighting for the crown as fans from across the world tune in to see who claims the title of world champion.
Format and Schedule
The tournament will be divided into three major phases. The Group Stage will run from November 28 to December 3 with 32 teams split into two groups. The top five teams from each group will directly qualify for the Grand Finals while the bottom three will be eliminated. The remaining squads will move to the Last Stage which is scheduled for December 5 to 7.
In the Last Stage 16 teams will compete for the final five spots in the Grand Finals. Adding to the excitement one regional wildcard will join the 15 qualified teams to complete the lineup. The Grand Finals will then be held from December 12 to 14 and will decide the 2025 PUBG world champions.
The Prize Pool
The PUBG Global Championship 2025 will feature a prize pool of 1.5 million dollars. However this amount has the potential to increase through Pick’em crowdfunding as seen in the previous edition which raised the total to 1.78 million dollars. The massive prize money ensures that the competition will be fierce with every team pushing for a share of glory.
Teams and Venues
Ten teams have already booked their slots following regional qualifiers in the Americas and Europe. From Europe fans will see Twisted Minds Geekay Esports Virtus Pro FaZe Clan and SLAMG. Representing the Americas will be Team Liquid FURIA Mission Ready International Alliance Al Qadsiah and ROC Esports. More teams from other regions will be confirmed as the road to Bangkok continues.
The action will first unfold at CentralWorld PULSE in Bangkok which will host both the Group Stage and the Last Stage. For the Grand Finals the competition will move to the iconic Siam Paragon Hall. Known for hosting premier esports events such as ESL One Bangkok and the Clash of Nations the venue will also feature special fan zones local programs and appearances from popular influencers making it a true festival for esports enthusiasts.
